When I began this drawing of this old elephant, I had no idea the amount of patience and effort required to draw in all those wrinkles. Wrinkle, after wrinkle, after wrinkle....but I continued because I wanted to create a piece of art that spoke of power and was BIG. He has a rather gentle nature, despite his size. The original is a piece that commands the center of attention in a room.
