As part of the order process, the following information is collected from shoppers:
Personal Information
You are only asked for personal information at checkout. The information you provide is used in the following way: • Name and Address. This information is used as defaults for billing and shipping information during the checkout process. It is also used to confirm the identification of callers when calling in to return items. • Telephone Number. This information is used to contact a customer if a problem arises with his/her order. • E-mail Address. This is used to contact the customer with tracking order numbers or questions regarding the purchase. • Shipping and Billing Address Information. This information is used for processing orders. • Credit Card Information. The type of card, name, number, and expiration date are required during the "Final Purchase" stage of order processing and are sent to the credit card processor for authorization and posting. When an authorization number is received, the credit card information is discarded and the authorization number is saved with the rest of the order information.
HOW THE CUSTOMERS INFORMATION IS USED:
All information collected is solely used to fill shipping orders and/or contact customers if they have questions.
